Governance Workshops at NAIS Annual Conference

This year's National Association of Independent Schools Annual Conference is being held virtually February 24 - 26, 2021. If your school is an NAIS member school, you should request to be included in your school's group conference registration. There are several governance track workshops and other sessions that may be of interest to you.

In fact, some of our ISCA member schools are presenters for governance workshops including James Harris, Board Chair of LREI School; Melanie Harris, Board Chair of Professional Children's School; and John Lewis, HOS of The Gunston School. Here are the titles of the governance workshops being offered at the NAIS Annual Conference followed by a link to view session descriptions for each.

Engaged Governance:  How Boards and Stakeholders Connect
Building a Better Dashboard for School Financial Health
Take a Deep Breath:  Manage Leadership Transition and Not Have It Be a Crisis
Effective Financial Governance for Independent Schools
Effective Decision Making:  The Key to Unlocking the Power of Diversity and Equity in Governance Practices
