Governance Gone Awry
This week I am sharing with you an unfortunate, true governance case study involving the Bullis School in Maryland. The Washington Post published this story on August 14, 2020 that reveals significant transgressions by the HOS and a complicit board chair who has his own conflict of interest issues. The board treasurer waves the red flag only to be shut down. I encourage you to read the story, share with your board and have a discussion about it. How would you have handled things differently?
Thank you to ISCA board member, Tim Matlack, for sharing this story.
