NAIS asks ISCA members about Head turnover
NAIS would like ISCA members to participate in a survey about Head of School turnover. They are partnering with the University of Pennsylvania to determine factors related to the tenure of a HOS. Below is a description of the research project from NAIS and a link to take the survey. The survey will be open until July 5th. This is a wonderful opportunity for Board Chairs to provide valuable and insightful information about your experiences. I hope you will participate in this anonymous survey!
"In recent years, we have seen an increase in unexpected departures of independent school heads. In an effort to learn more about this trend, NAIS and the University of Pennsylvania have partnered to better understand the factors that contribute to unexpected head turnover.
By participating in the following survey, you will help inform future leadership and governance resources and learning opportunities for both heads and trustees. The survey is completely anonymous, so we hope you will be candid and transparent in your responses. The survey results will be analyzed and shared with NAIS members, including in a presentation at the 2020 NAIS Annual Conference in Philadelphia."
