I will continue the discussion I ended with last week. I suggested listening for cosmic tones from the solar winds that may be of particular help to you. Why might such an exercise be appropriate?
I have an excerpt from “The Heart's Note,” by Stewart Pearce(2010) published by Findhorn Press, Scotland. (page 53) for your consideration, regarding finding your soul's sound:
“The ancients called this persona, meaning ‘through sound.’ Each time we create our signature note, our note of harmony, our bodies balance and our cells evolve more healthily. Literally, we can feel this, as our bodies vibrate in tune with the symphony of the galaxy. In our cellular song, our biological rhythms harmonize with the whole orchestra of the Cosmos as we sound our heart's note.”
I will also add that this practice is available to all. If finances are a problem for you, this costs nothing! It is adaptable to everyone's current state of vibration, and will change with you as you advance in your spiritual quotient and level of understanding.
ASTROLOGY FORECAST
(Dec 18 - 24)
This week opens with a series of trines in the Solar System on the day of a very important conjunction.
The conjunction is between the SUN and the GALACTIC CENTER at 27° Sagittarius. This will happen on the 18th and the 19th with the arc of influence for some days before and after these two dates.
This is significant because the Galactic Center is a very dynamic, black hole portal to deep space. Assistance and guidance comes to our Solar Star (our Sun) from this portal. It is located within the last, most far “seeing” zodiac fire sign. Fire is the most immediately creative element.
Now, add to this the fact that the Sun is TRINE the North Node in Aries. The North Node is the home of our aspirations for this lifetime, what we are hoping to accomplish with our unique gifts and attributes. Aries is the first creative Fire sign. So we come full circle with the potential of this dynamic element; youthful, personal fire to philosophical, visionary fire.
The solar/galactic center alignment is at the midheaven for the planetary chart. In a personal chart the MIDHEAVEN indicates how we will present to the world, our public acclaim or persona. In a chart for a nation or planet it can speak to what we will accomplish together, what we stand for.
Assisting this alignment are 3 more major TRINES:
Mercury/Jupiter - quick intellect, honesty, travel
Moon/Venus - beauty, artistry
Saturn/South Node - best application of innate gifts
The trines, that are always great good luck involve all the personal planets except Mars, and both of the benefic planets, Venus and Jupiter.
Therefore, it will be a great time to open to receive in ways you find most effective and to initiate adjustments you wish to make, with your natural talents.
PLUTO moves into the 29th degree of Capricorn on 12/19 until it moves into Aquarius on 1/21/24. The last degree “wraps up” all the qualities of a sign. It is called the “fate degree” of any sign. In the case of Capricorn you are looking at a Cardinal earth sign. Capricorn exhibits; ambition, planning, perseverance, self sufficiency, everything that is required to see something through to a satisfying conclusion.
PLUTO will have only one more visit to Capricorn from 9/1 to 11/8 next year, once it moves into Aquarius in January.
The ruling planet of Capricorn is Saturn, influencing Pluto since 2008. The theme is the realization and transformation of structural components of our cultures that no longer work well. There will continue to be some upheaval while we course correct. This serious, diligent energy will usher us into the next paradigm more suited to Aquarian energy soon. The steadiness and diligence will pay off.
VESTA is retrograde and it moves back into Gemini on 12/20. Vesta is about purity and service to a greater good. When she backs into Gemini that focus widens from the individual or family, to the entire group. Gemini is interested in everything and everyone. Vesta, in that position, will tend to help the masses through the advancement of the divine feminine principles across a broad swath of humanity.
The SUN moves into Capricorn on 12/21. We just discussed many of the typical traits above. In addition, Capricorn is steady, rather than flashy. Hard work, combined with ambition usually has success showing up later in life for natives. On a societal basis, Capricorn's ruler, Saturn, will encourage us to apply integrity, responsibility, respect for all into our endeavors. That is especially true now as the Sun transits Capricorn for the last time while Pluto also occupies the sign - final exams everyone!
MERCURY is in retrograde motion and is backing into Sagittarius again on 12/23. This will give our mental faculties one more chance at a visionary, philosophical outlook to take into the New Year. Mercury will be in Sagittarius again for 3 weeks until 1/14/24. It is another chance to understand some new concepts you may have recently explored more thoroughly.
An analysis of the planetary movements above gives a good example of the helpful ebb and flow of astrology. Many planets occupy the end of the annual zodiac cycle. It tends to be more visionary and all inclusive, rather than personal. Sagittarius’ fiery vision and philosophy alternates with rolling our sleeves up and getting to work - Capricorn's earth. Next will be Aquarius’ airy cosmic level thinking, followed by watery Pisces’ dreamy, mystical emotions. Then the cycle starts again with Aries, tending back toward the personal for a while.
It is a lovely, swaying dance meant to inspire, and not tire you too much. I hope you dance!
ASTROLOGY FORECAST
(Dec 25 - 30)
The last week in December will be busy astrologically.
There is a FULL MOON in Cancer on 12/26 at 7:33 pm EST. Cancer is ruled by the Moon, so this is a stronger than usual Full Moon. Emotion, intuition, family connections (biological and family of choice) will be highlighted.
Another very strong influence on this day will be Mercury and Mars conjunct very near the Galactic Center in Sagittarius. We discussed this center last week when the Sun was in conjunction. Now it is Mars and Mercury.
A conjunction between these two personal planets can enhance courage and mental capacity. You may find yourself more articulate, and more willing to express yourself than usual. However, there may also be a tendency toward arguments and butting heads. The savior might be the Galactic Center which bestows us with wisdom from the Akashic records. If used prudently, it may help with solutions to problems that have seemed insurmountable before.
CHIRON stations direct at 15° Aries on 12/26. I realize that we haven't discussed this asteroid/comet for quite a while, so let's review a bit. This Sagittarian Centaur is an asteroid with comet-like qualities in orbit out by Saturn and Uranus. It is considered very important in an astrological chart.
In mythology, CHIRON is called the “wounded healer.” His wounds were two-fold. Rejected at birth by both parents, and then fatally wounded at the end of life accidentally. In spite of a difficult beginning Chiron was gifted in healing, arts, science, and strategy. He was skilled and very willing to teach.
He represents wounds that are not necessarily self inflicted, such as generational and cultural. This is an area where you can be your own healer rather than waiting for another to do it for you. You can transmute pain into wisdom to heal a wound in a way that only you can accomplish. CHIRON in the chart indicates how you might succeed, and is willing to teach you how. Meditation on this could help a great deal.
A Chiron retrograde in Aries since 7/23 has helped us become aware of triggers and/or wounds we've had since childhood. They may very easily be holdovers in our DNA from other times and places. The retrograde interval has hopefully helped you hone in on some clues to self healing.
We are in the late middle stages of the CHIRON transit through Aries, (2018-2027.) Examples of Chiron inspired incite for Aries traits: the proper release of anger, self knowledge, self expression without bullying or arrogance, quelling war-like tendencies, and, perhaps, the most important of all, don't turn anger inward, thus attacking the self.
Chiron's forward motion will give you opportunities to implement some of the incites you hopefully received on this theme.
VENUS moves into Sagittarius on 12/29 until 1/23. This placement likes freedom, adventure, and independence. Venus is optimistic now, seeing the joy and fun in life in general.
Jupiter stations direct on 12/30 at 5° Taurus. The retrograde has lasted 5 months. Now as forward motion resumes there should be a lightening of energy. Jupiter's natural good luck and benevolence will begin to shine again.
Last Autumn found several retrograde planets. Now only Uranus and asteroid Vesta are still in retrograde motion. (Mercury retrogrades are a short sequence so are somewhat separate.) This will create movement where things have seemed stalled. Uranus joins the forward movement soon as well. This is reason for general optimism. What is more, since the outer, slow moving planets effect entire populations at once, we should expect a lightening of the mood of the populace. This will be a nice development going into the Winter.

I will explain my favorite sign off for any new readers. The traditional meaning of Godspeed was along the lines of, “ may God speed you along your way,” meant mostly for travelers. I envision something different. I am referring to the speed of our vibrations. The faster they are, the more of our divine nature is embodied into our daily existence.
