ISDS Foundation President Awarded

the Thaddeus V. Weclew Award

Dr. Thomas "Sully" Sullivan was awarded the Thaddeus V. Weclew Award at the 2023 CDS Midwinter Meeting. The award is given to a recipient for their outstanding service to the dental profession.

Dr. Thomas Harrison spoke of his friend, Sully, stating, "Sully is a scholar and a gentleman and brings the same passion to Dental Mission work, his family, his faith, and his music. He lifted our spirits during COVID with his live video concerts viewed from all over the country. Thank you, my friend, for all you do for the profession!"

We couldn't agree more with those words and congratulate Sully on all his achievements!

Dr. Terri Dallas of Elgin Adventist Church thanks the ISDS Foundation for their grant.

The Illinois State Dental Society Foundation recently announced the winners of the 2022 Community Grant Awards. This year $100,000 in grant monies were awarded to thirteen organizations for projects designed to provide access to dental care and increase oral health awareness and education.  To view a few of these amazing organizational leaders and their stories and thanks to the Foundation, click here.
