ISDS Foundation Donates PPE Supplies to
Dental Schools as MOM is Postponed
Our dental schools are of vital importance during the COVID-19 pandemic as they remain on the front lines of treating dental emergencies. Their tireless commitment to caring for these emergencies serves to reduce the overload on our hospital emergency rooms.
The ISDS Foundation contacted our Illinois dental schools to see how we can help them through the extraordinary circumstances of the virus. Based on
their feedback, the schools were lacking vital personal protection equipment. Therefore, the ISDS Foundation donated 350 Level 3 masks; 14,150 Level 1 masks; 110 gowns; 97 cases of gloves; 30 cases of
disinfectant wipes; 8 cans of Lysol and 9 gallons of bleach to our three state dental schools.
The PPE inventory was in the ISDS Foundation’s Mission of Mercy supplies for our next mission. However, the critical need is now, and we were proud to contribute to our dental schools’ efforts to treat patients and lend our support during this time of crisis.
The 2020 Mission of Mercy at Rock Valley College in Rockford has
been postponed to June 18-19, 2021, same location. So mark your
2021 calendar!
