Q2 2017 - IN THIS ISSUE:
CONCRETE  IS OUR BUSINESS
MMC Materials and Bayou Concrete welcome you our quarterly newsletter. As leading suppliers of concrete solutions, our team is educating the industry on the latest concrete news and projects. This quarter's newsletter is focused on the benefits of ISE Logik, the cost effectiveness of Redi-Rock and the longer life cycle provision of Kemrok. Questions? Email us at [email protected].
ISE LOGIK INDUSTRIES MVRA 900
The Next Generation in Moister Vapor Reduction

Concrete moisture is and has been a top concern for the design/build community for years due to concrete's inability to pass flooring industry field moisture tests within a timeframe conducive to project schedules. The associated delays, disruptions, and forced use of reactive moisture mitigation systems has resulted in a multibillion dollar annual problem that can no longer be ignored. ISE Logik Industries MVRA 900 is the next generation in moisture vapor reduction admixtures, and provides a cost-effective concrete mix that eliminates floor covering and coating failures due to excess moisture from and through the concrete in service. REDI-ROCK WALL AT LOST RABBIT
A Cost Effective, Good Looking Alternative

A Redi-Rock Wing Wall project at Lost Rabbit in Madison, MS. This was a 2100 SF reinforced wall that was installed by UCI and Geo Products. Redi-Rock was chosen as a more cost effective and better looking alternative than a soldier pile wall. For more information on Redi-Rock, please visit the website at www.redi-rock.com or call Zach Farrar at 601-624-7302 or Andrew Lester at 601-624-6249.

KEMROK CONCRETE
Providing A Longer Life Cycle

Concrete degradation can occur in many forms but most commonly in construction we have seen it in the form of chemical attack. Chemical attack or erosion can be caused from common industrial chemicals, such as acids, or natural chemicals in the soil, such as high sulfates. With exposure to these chemicals the life cycle can be significantly reduced, so, protective measures must be taken to ensure longevity of the structure. One option that MMC and Bayou Concrete has to offer is Kemrok Concrete. This is a low w/c ratio (.20), low permeability (less than 350 coulombs), high strength concrete that offers a longer life cycle in these lower life cycle areas. For more information on Kemrok visit  www.ceratechinc.com or call Andrew Lester at 601-624-6249.
