New Safety Fine MapMap
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration's  new webpage identifies high penalty cases in all U.S. states and territories - whether they operate under federal OSHA or an OSHA-approved state plan.
On Friday, Sept. 4, NIOSH will celebrate N95 Day by emphasizing the importance of the proper use of NIOSH-approved N95 filtering facepiece respirators (FFRs) in the workplace. 
The August 27th release updates the original October 2014 recommendations and contain clarifications on fluid resistant gowns and coveralls as well as updated rationale for respiratory protection, clarification of procedures and roles for donning and doffing PPE, and changes in the order of PPE removal.
During the upcoming  ASSE Construction Safety Symposium, Christine Branche, Ph.D., principal associate director and director, NIOSH Office of Construction Safety and Health, will present  a session on delivering a successful safety stand-down.
