N95 Day to Promote Proper Use of Respiratory Protection

 

On Friday, Sept. 4, NIOSH will celebrate N95 Day by emphasizing the importance of the proper use of NIOSH-approved N95 filtering facepiece respirators (FFRs) in the workplace. 

CDC Updates Ebola PPE Guidance

 

The August 27th release updates the original October 2014 recommendations and contain clarifications on fluid resistant gowns and coveralls as well as updated rationale for respiratory protection, clarification of procedures and roles for donning and doffing PPE, and changes in the order of PPE removal.
