Safety Apparel in Workzones
High-visibility safety garments that conform to the newly revised
American National Standard for High-Visibility Safety Apparel and Accessories,
ANSI/ISEA 107-2015, will be in compliance with the 2009 Manual on Uniform
Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)
announced on June 1.

Momentum Strong for MSA's Fire Service Business
MSA Safety Incorporated (NYSE: MSA) announced it has been awarded a multi-year
contract to supply, service and maintain 3,600 AirGo®eXXtreme self-contained
breathing apparatus (SCBA) for Fire and Rescue New South Wales (FRNSW) in
Australia,
one of the world's largest urban fire and rescue services.
National Safety Apparel® (NSA), a leading manufacturer of
safety apparel, announced the acquisition of DRIFIRE® from Optimer Brands based in Chicago, IL.
The Patriot 5510 Hybrid Life Support System from Scott Safety (Booth 1627)
provides a single platform for a wide range of respiratory protective scenarios
and much more.
The new 10,000 square-foot facility opened in fall 2015 and includes a
manufacturing lab, two engineering labs, an innovation lab and design center.
Along with equipment and facilities, the school's curriculum has been updated to
better reflect the industry.
