ISEA Members Elected Officers and Board Members at the 2015 Executive SummitBoard

 

Eric Beck, executive director of strategic marketing of MSA Safety was elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) at the association's annual Executive Summit in San Antonio, Texas. Sheila Eads, president and chief executive officer of ERB Industries, was elected Vice Chairman.

The ISEA 2015 Executive Summit held May 3-5, at the JW Marriott Resort in San Antonio, Texas, was the association's 82nd annual meeting. Members heard from supply-chain consultants about the state of distribution; an update on the association's additional training opportunities from QSSP's Course Director; and short- and long-term economist forecasts to increase profitability from one of the country's most informed economist.

The Covington Fire Department has to send their used gear off to a company in Austell, and then wait four to five days to get it back. If the fire fighters whose gear is sent out have to answer a call during those four or five days, they'll have to borrow gear from off-duty fire fighters due to the lack of a second set of turnout gear.
