recipient of the annual Robert B. Hurley Distinguished Service Award. James R. Thornton, CSP, CIH, will be recognized at the association's Award Dinner on Nov. 30 at the Westin Alexandria in Alexandria, Va.
The U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) request seeking information on pharmaceuticals which can, when administered before or after exposure to hazardous noise exposures, prevent or mitigate noise-induced hearing injury and, in turn,
prevent permanent and irreversible hearing loss.
