Honeywell, DuPont to Sponsor 20 Scholarships for First Responder Training at
FDIC 2017
"The FDIC scholarship program, sponsored annually by Honeywell First Responder,
provides firefighters with life-saving tools and training that they can take back to their communities," said Bobby Halton, FDIC International Education Director. "Thanks to
Honeywell's and DuPont's generosity, dozens of talented and dedicated firefighters have
had the opportunity to expand their circle of brothers and sisters and to impact their
department's ability to save lives and protect firefighters."
This breakthrough solution offers tough protection against a broad range of chemicals,
while still providing the dexterity and tactility of a thin, disposable glove.
Scott Safety reached a significant milestone for firefighter safety, when the Scott Sight
thermal intelligence system was third-party certified to the 2013 Edition of the NFPA 1981 Standard.
According to Joyce Wooley, Radians' Hi-Viz Product Manager, "We designed this quilted,
ultra-lightweight, water/wind resistant, polyfil, reversible jacket to satisfy the safety, comfort,
