Employers may also have to shoulder the responsibility of instilling more awareness 
and education among their workers. For example, workers sometimes choose not to

partnered with the American Society of Safety Engineers to conduct an online survey 
of safety professionals.

Safety Equipment Institute (SEI) Selected to Manage USDA Biobased Certification 
Program Protecting Customers with PPE

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has selected the Safety Equipment Institute - a subsidiary of ASTM International - to manage the certification program that supports labeling thousands of products as "biobased ."  

"It's in [rental companies'] best interest to provide their customers with the proper safety 
guidance and support. I believe the best approach is to set up and enforce PPE policies 
that make sense to rental customers and associates."
