The ISGAP Delegation to the Vatican was led by President Harley Lippman, Executive Director Dr. Charles Asher Small, Director of ISGAP Europe Robert Hassan - other members of the delegation were Ronit Fouzailov and Pincas Fouzailov of Tel Aviv, Galit Shalev of Geneva and Odoso Darko-Ankrah of Neuchatel, Switzerland. The ISGAP Delegation was welcomed to the Vatican by the Ministry of Human Development. The ISGAP Delegation met with Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson of Ghana and were hosted by Nunzio Apostolico Mons. Silvano M. Tomas and Flaminia Giovanelli, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Development. Discussions focused on collaboration in combating antisemitism and the protection of minority rights, with an emphasis on the Middle East. The meeting also focused on combating religious extremism and horrific level of violence, which are often inspired by antisemitism. Later the ISGAP Delegation had the honor of meeting with Pope Francis.
