2019 Edition, Volume 2, Sri-Jagannath Rath Yatra, 4th July 2019
ISKCON Of Central NJ, 1020 W 7th Street, Plainfield, NJ 07063
|

At ISKCON of Central New Jersey (ICNJ) we strive to build a community of individuals who
care for fellow devotees,
share our happiness together and offer
prayer
to the supreme personality of godhead in unison. As the heat of summer of 2019 bake our enthusiasm to reach beyond our community - Rath Yatras become our outlet for preaching.
Sunday school activities takes the shape of creating crafts, painting for the pleasure of the Lordships during His separation from us after Snan Yatra. Our kids feel the pulse of devotion when the Lordships retire during their transcendental illness.
This newsletter illustrates our greatest outreach event - the Chariot Festivals of the Lord of the Universe, which His Divine Grace Swami Prabhupada performed for the first time in western world on 9th July 1967 in San Francisco. Lord Jagannath is the first installed deity of ISKCON. By Lord Jagannath's causeless mercy and Swami Pradhupada's sincere devotion and compassion for the fallen souls - nowadays Rath Yatras are held in every major town and village.
