Overview:

Cyberattacks on healthcare systems are increasing in frequency and scale. Clinical laboratories' reliance on automation and connectivity means they often face some of the most significant operational impacts. Downtimes caused by ransomware and related events can stretch on for weeks, or even months, disrupting critical testing and patient care.

This webinar will provide background on current cybersecurity threats affecting healthcare and outline practical strategies for laboratory preparedness and response. Impacts on hematology lab settings will be specifically addressed.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify common cybersecurity threats that impact clinical laboratories.
  • Describe how digital workflows and AI tools increase system vulnerability and change preparedness needs.
  • Outline strategies to prepare for and manage extended laboratory downtimes resulting from cyberattacks.

This webinar will begin promptly at 10:00 AM Central Time US and are approximately 50 minutes long. There is no charge to participate in the live webinar.
