ISOHA is proud to present a week-long series of virtual One Health events based in Romania, Europe, featuring a series of exciting speakers covering a range of One Health topics (Agenda available soon). The conference will run from 11 to 17 January 2021, with 1-2 speakers presenting each evening (7pm GMT +2 in Romania, 12pm GMT -5 in EST). Participants will also learn more about ISOHA as an organisation. Registration is free and all are welcome! Registrants will receive an email with links to log into the sessions. As a part of our second journal call, we invite student One Health enthusiasts from across the globe to submit articles related to One Health for our informal ISOHA Journal, set to be launched mid 2021. Articles submitted may address and are NOT limited to the following themes:

  • Infectious and zoonotic disease
  • Antimicrobial resistance
  • Food Safety and bio-security
  • Emergency preparedness and outbreak management
  • Translational and comparative research
  • Policy, Social and Economic Issues of One Health
  • Climate change impacts
  • Cumulative health effects assessments 
  • Environmental bio-hazards

We invite scholarly articles, research articles, opinion pieces, art, comics, poems, etc. as long as a justification is made as to how they reflect a One Health approach, and as long as the submission is made by a student.

Who is an ISOHA Continent Representative?
An ISOHA Continent Representative is a student who:
- Helps coordinate ISOHA activities in their respective continent.
- Serves as a liaison between ISOHA and student One Health groups in their continent.
- Seeks out One Health-related student groups in their continent.
