Visiting Vancouver and Victoria | |
Short on time but would like to see a bit of Vancouver and get to Victoria via Butchart Gardens?
A hop on hop off bus tour is a great way to get an overview and feel for Vancouver and see the major sites. Consider adding on a trip to Grouse Mountain especially if the day is clear and the mountains are visible, it will give you a bird’s eye view of the city, University of British Columbia and beyond all the way to Vancouver Island. You can book ahead or show up at the front of the Vancouver Convention Centre (Waterfront Station on the Canada Line) where the Tourist Info booth is located. Another idea is to book a tour to Butchart Gardens, as this will give you transportation to the ferry from downtown Vancouver, a scenic 90 minute sail across Georgia Strait and through the Gulf Islands and then onto Victoria after your visit to Butchart.

- Fisherman's Wharf is a charming marina adorned with colourful floating homes, seafood eateries, local shops, and is a 20-minute walk from the Victoria Conference Centre
