From Netty Cracknell, ISOPP President
As we count down to the ISOPP CAPhO Symposium 2025 in beautiful Victoria, BC, Canada, I am excited to share some important updates with you. This year, ISOPP is offering a hybrid experience for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Town Hall — both in-person and online. Whether you can join us in Victoria or participate from the comfort of your home, we look forward to having you with us as we collaborate and shape the future of ISOPP together.
One of my key highlights of the Symposium will be the ISOPP Awards Presentation, where we will honor outstanding individuals and teams who have made a significant impact on the oncology pharmacy profession. We are thrilled to celebrate their accomplishments from both 2024 and 2025, and hope their achievements inspire us all to continue pushing boundaries in our field.
One last request to you as a member, please participate in our ongoing survey. Your voice matters and we need your insights to help guide ISOPP’s strategic direction, whether it’s refining our advocacy efforts, advancing education and research, or strengthening our engagement and communication practices. Your feedback is crucial as we continue our work to further oncology pharmacy and shape the future of our profession.
And for those who picked up the (not so) deliberate error in the February newsletter– this really is our last newsletter before the XXII Annual International Symposium in Canada. I look forward to connecting with you next month—whether in person or online—and I can’t wait to hear how you’ve stepped outside your comfort zone this year (read Jan newsletter!). Let’s continue to grow together!
King regards,
