At long last, it was so wonderful to see many of you last month at our first in-person meeting in over 3 years at the XXI International Symposium on Oncology Pharmacy Practice (ISOPP 2023).

The recording of ISOPP’s 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 3rd is available on the ISOPP website.

ISOPP 2023 Secretariat Election Results
ISOPP’s 2023 Secretariat election took place in January/February. Meet the newly elected Secretariat:

ISOPP Education Committee Update
The Education Committee is looking forward to presenting collaborative education projects with AstraZeneca and Dr Reddy’s, along with Masterclasses and Webinars in 2023.
ISOPP Sponsored Membership
Each year, members graciously donate monies so that fellow oncology pharmacy practitioners, who might otherwise not be able to join ISOPP, are afforded the opportunity.

ISOPP Research Committee Update

The Research Committee continues to engage and support ISOPP members with research initiatives.
Engagement & Communications (E&C) Committee Update
The E&C Committee is busy with the website revamp, improving the ‘welcome to ISOPP’ new member engagement process, and developing a Strategic Member Engagement Plan.
ISOPP Advocacy Committee Feedback
Collaboration with WHO on the Cancer Manual, auditing compliance to ISOPP Standards, and a position paper on healthcare disparities are among the Advocacy Committee’s projects.

Oncology Pharmacotherapy and Applications of Biosimilars Program
Have you signed up for the Oncology Pharmacotherapy and Applications of Biosimilars (OPAB) Program yet? This online education program, with accredited and non accredited options, is for ISOPP and CSHP Members who are oncology pharmacists and have practiced for at least one year in the area of oncology pharmacy. Registration is complimentary for ISOPP members.

Finally! For the first time in three years, ISOPP members were able to connect in-person at ISOPP 2023 which took place March 2-4, 2023 in the beautiful, historic city of Seville, Spain.
