Volume 26 | No.9 | September 2024

Dear Eunji

Welcome to the next newsletter for ISOPP. The months seem to rush by and very quickly I have the delight of writing my introduction for you, the ISOPP members. Each month I struggle to think of what I can write and each month as soon as I start writing, I end up with lots to say and this month is no different, but I have tried to keep it brief this time!

We have had a busy month in ISOPP with one call for a member consultation and two very separate calls for volunteers (see below for more details). This is a testament to the great work being done by the ISOPP leadership team and the work of the committees and task forces that underpin the work of ISOPP. As well as this, there is ongoing work for our ISOPP CAPhO Symposium 2025 taking place in April next year in Victoria, Canada with many volunteers involved in making sure that next year will be a huge success to support the oncology pharmacy community. This month also sees the abstract submissions open and if you do not have an abstract to submit for 2025, why not start planning to submit an abstract for 2026 and if you need support, please reach out to our research membership network! And if that was not enough, this month ISOPP supported the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) in their World Pharmacists Day on September 25, 2024. More details on all of these are in this newsletter.

Lastly, thank you for joining ISOPP and this month, I challenge you to spreading the word of no-fee membership of ISOPP further and asking three colleagues to join ISOPP! Can we double or even triple our membership number in a month? The power is in your hands!

Have a great month and remember to be kind, to yourself and others.

All community pharmacy team members (assistants, technicians and pharmacists) are invited to participate.
