30th Annual Tech Show Exhibit Space Going Fast!

It's the 30th Anniversary of the Tech Show and it promises to be bigger and better than ever!

We will return to the Raleigh Convention Center in downtown Raleigh on February 28, 2023, with a MUCH larger exhibit floor that will include MORE booths in a variety of sizes, and an expanded Career Fair!

Unleash Your Generosity and Support Your Favorite Committee in ISPE-CaSA Charitable Giving Contest

Each year, ISPE-CaSA hosts a charity event at our Life Sciences Technology Show. As part of the 2023 Tech Show, our association committees are once again competing to raise money for 5 adopted charities:

• Education Committee: Raleigh Rescue Mission
• Membership/Networking Committee: Ronald McDonald House
• IT/Social Media Committee: Food Bank of Central & Eastern N.C.
• Women In Pharma Committee: The Women's Center
• Technology Conference Committee:  Autism Society of North Carolina
• Emerging Leaders Committee: Boys & Girls Club of Wake County



From now until February 28 you can donate online to help a charity you support win the competition. ISPE-CaSA Board of Directors will give $800 to each of the charities and an extra $1,000 to the charity that raises the most through donations. We will also be selling raffle tickets to support these charities at the Tech Show.

How to participate:

Visit our Charity Donation site, and click on the red button that says "Tickets." You will see a menu to make your donations. Simply use the scroll bar to find your favorite charity or committee and choose the amount you wish to give. Do not donate directly to the charities. While that certainly would benefit the charity of your choice, it would not count toward a committee's collections.

Donators will be entered into a 50/50 raffle drawing at the Feb. 28 Tech Show, where the winner will win 50% of the raffle ticket sales. The remaining 50% will be donated to the charities.

Tech Show Booth Packages Include Program Ads

ISPE-CaSA offers special exhibitor packages to those participating in our Tech Show. If you have not reserved your booth or table, check out the following packages. If you have made your reservation, don't hesitate to take advantage of these opportunities:

10x20 Booth Package: Full page ad in conference program; Company logo on the front of the arch leading into the exhibit hall; Registration for up to 4 company representatives; Company logo in the weekly eblast for weeks leading up to the Tech Show as well as in a logo block in conference program.

10x10 Booth Package: Half-page ad in conference program; Registration for up to 3 company reps; Company logo in the weekly eblast for weeks leading up to the Tech Show as well as in a logo block in conference program.

6’ Tables: One-eighth (1/8^th) page ad in conference program; Registration for up to 2 company reps.

6’ Career Fair: Logos on arch leading into the Career Fair on the Expo Floor; Company logo in weekly eblast for weeks leading up to the Tech Show as well as in a logo block in conference program.

Networking & Therapeutic Thursday

Therapeutic Thursday January 26 at Tobacco Wood

We are kicking off the New Year with our first Therapeutic Thursday of 2023. Azzur Group is our sponsor on January 26, at Tobacco Wood Brewing Company Taproom,2500 Meridian Parkway, Durham, NC 27713. 

Join us from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Azzur Group will provide tasty appetizers, and we will offer a cash bar.

Sponsor Therapeutic Thursday

One of our most popular events features good old face-to-face networking.

Be sure to join us for Therapeutic Thursdays in 2023. And we are actively seeking sponsors. Sponsorships cost $250

Therapeutic Thursdays across our CaSA Chapter Region (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, and Tennessee) are held the last Thursday of the month. We invite sponsors to select a month, pick a venue (often a restaurant with a spacious bar area, a brewery, or other similar business) and provide appetizers. There is a cash bar.

We will promote your Therapeutic Thursday a month in advance.

Therapeutic Thursdays in RTP area: To avoid competition with other ISPE-CaSA events in the Research Triangle Park area (radius of 50 miles around Raleigh-Durham) we offer Therapeutic Thursdays in the following months only - January, April, June, July, August, September and November. Learn which months are available. And choose your preferred date.

Therapeutic Thursdays across the CaSA Region: We offer Therapeutic Thursday sponsorship across the entire CaSA area (50 miles outside the RTP region) all 12 months of the year. Learn which months are available and choose your preferred date.

Jane Brown Scholarship

Jane Brown Scholarships Open for Applications - Deadline Feb. 3

It's time for students to apply for ISPE-CaSA's Jane Brown Scholarship.

The scholarship is open to CaSA Student Chapter members enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate field of study at an accredited university or college.

Over the years, we have awarded up to two scholarships to deserving candidates based on their scholarship application, ISPE involvement and contributions, academic achievement, letters of recommendation, and essay.

The ISPE-CaSA Chapter established a scholarship fund in 2015 to encourage students who seek a career in the life sciences industry. Jane Brown was a Past-President of the CaSA Chapter and past ISPE Chairman.

The next Scholarship winner(s) will be announced at our 30th Annual Life Sciences Technology Conference on February 28, 2023, in Raleigh, NC.

In 2022, we enjoyed a big year, as we saw many events sold out, including our spring Golf Tournament. We anticipate continued engagement in the year ahead.
