ISS Member Update | August Edition

September is an exciting month for the International Superyacht Society as we bring our members together in Monaco for an afternoon of education, followed by an evening of connection at our annual Member’s Reception at the Yacht Club de Monaco.

We're pleased to announce this year's Leadership Series seminar in Monaco, "AI in Action: Practical Tools for Yachting Professionals", taking place Wednesday, 23 September, from 2:00–5:00 PM at the Yacht Club de Monaco. Building on the momentum of previous sessions, this seminar moves from theory to hands-on tools that yachting professionals can apply immediately. The program also explores the legal implications of using AI in the workplace, including data privacy, confidentiality, copyright, and liability. Whether you're new to these tools or already using them every day, this session is designed to meet you where you are. Registration is now open.

Following the seminar, we look forward to welcoming ISS members and industry professionals to our ISS Member’s Reception at the Yacht Club de Monaco. This special evening will kick off the Monaco Yacht Show, bringing together colleagues and friends from across the global yachting community while unveiling the highly anticipated 2026 ISS Design Awards Finalists. The announcement celebrates excellence, creativity, and innovation in superyacht design from around the world. Register for the Member’s Reception.

We are also pleased to welcome Jonathan Lord as a new ISS Ambassador in the Bahamas. With a career spanning luxury, yachting, and sports tourism, Jonathan brings extensive experience in business development, experiential strategy, strategic partnerships, and relationship management. His work has focused on connecting lifestyle markets with destination growth, strengthening brand engagement, and creating meaningful partnerships across industries. We look forward to having Jonathan represent ISS and help expand our connections within the global yachting community.

Looking Ahead to FLIBS and the ISS Gala

As we look ahead to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and the ISS Design & Leadership Awards Gala, there are also exciting opportunities for our industry to connect with a broader lifestyle audience.
