Principal of the Day



On Thursday, ISSAC welcomed a new principal for the day. Leilani stepped into the role, skillfully managing various tasks throughout the day. To conclude her tenure, she handed out goodie bags to all the students during dismissal.

PBL3 on Peace and Human Rights wraps up today, January 17th, with an inspiring showcase of your kids' hard work and creativity over the past six weeks!

Each group has explored meaningful topics in unique ways. Earth performed a song celebrating how we are all different yet the same and enact skits demonstrating acts of kindness at school.

Venus presented a heartfelt song and a book they created, focusing on three fundamental Children's Rights: the right to food, water, and shelter; the right to education; and the right to safety.

Mars shared their insightful research on the Tongva people, highlighting their history, culture, and human rights.

Saturn showcased stunning artwork and research on heroes who made significant contributions to human rights and a great song.

Jupiter presented recorded discussions portraying historic figures who championed human rights.

3. Decorate & set up (3 volunteers) from 3:30-4:30 pm

4. Sell tickets (2 volunteers) before the main agenda from 4:30-5pm

5. Serve food (4 volunteers) from 4:30 pm - 5 p.m.

6. Clean up (4 volunteers) from 6:30 - 7 p.m.
