Weekly Wellness Tips

Congratulations! You did it; you made it through the semester and a full academic year unlike any we have ever had before. We know that this was one of the most difficult semesters that you have had. The impacts of the global pandemic on our physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, academic, and social wellness made things a lot harder for many of us. I hope that you are proud of yourself for succeeding in such a difficult situation. We are incredibly proud of all of you. And we hope that you know that it is OK to be feeling a mix of both positive and negative emotions right now. That is normal.

Before we say goodbye for the summer, we want to remind you all that we might need to put in some extra attention to make sure that we stay healthy and well during this time. So, we wanted to highlight our selection of Wellness Resources for all 9 Wellness Dimensions.  This section is filled with tips and helpful guides for you to use. Remember, just like with anything else, wellness needs to be practiced everyday. In this guide you will find different resources to help you practice. We recommend picking 2-3 things to work on each week over the summer to help you stay well.

We hope that you all have a relaxing, restful, and enjoyable break. If you need any help or if you are struggling with Emotional Wellbeing or have mental health concerns, you can always call the UD Helpline 24/7 at (302) 831-1001 and press 2 to speak with a mental health professional. As a reminder, all of the wellbeing resources will still be here to support you throughout the summer.
