Fall 2020 Welcome from IPC
Chancellor Gilliam welcomes new and returning international students to campus. Watch the video above for this special message to kick of the Fall 2020 semester.
ISSS Operational Plan for Fall 2020
We are excited to be back on campus to support students this Fall, and, to do so safely, we have made several updates to our operating procedures. Be sure to follow the guidelines above and always make an appointment before coming to see us in the Foust Building (even for document pickup)! Email [email protected] with any questions.

Virtual drop in hours start today! IPC will not have in-person drop/walk in appointments this semester. Drop in on Zoom from 2:00-4:00 pm to meet with an advisor about any questions related to your F-1 visa.
No appointment necessary.
Important Reminders
Enrollment requirements are slightly different for F-1 visa holders this year (see FAQ's for more information), but in order to maintain an active SEVIS Record as a continuing student - whether inside or outside of the U.S. - you must still be enrolled for a full course of study.

If you have a reason to be enrolled for less than a full course of study, be sure to complete the appropriate request (see slide 6) in the ISSS Portal by this Friday, August 21. Contact us if you have any questions.
If you are a new or continuing student taking classes online from outside of the U.S. this fall, it is incredibly important that you complete the Fall 2020 Plans form as soon as possible so we can waive your health insurance requirement for this semester. All F-1 visa holders are encouraged to complete the form, but it is required for any student who will be outside of the U.S. this Fall.

Scholarship Opportunity

In an effort to show our support of international students in the U.S. this fall, I am excited to share that International Student Voice will award a $500 scholarship to an international student.

We are currently taking submissions for our *Spread Positivity, Not the
Virus Scholarship Photo Contest* on Instagram
<http://www.instagram.com/internationalstudentvoice>. This is in partnership with our friends at International Student Protection.

It's super easy for international students to apply:
1. Follow @internationalstudentvoice on Instagram
2. After you find the perfect photo, be sure to include a caption
describing why you picked the photograph and be sure to include the name of
the university/college you're attending.
3. Post the photograph on Instagram and tag @internationalstudentvoice

All international students studying in the USA are eligible: F-1 and J-1
visas/ESL, associate's, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral. Part-time and
full time.

For more information about the contest, as well as receive updates on more
scholarship opportunities, students can sign up here:

The deadline is August 20 at 11:59 p.m. (EDT).
