Travel Considerations for International Students
Please read carefully if you are considering travel outside of the U.S. soon

Travel and reentry to the U.S. remains risky at this time. If you plan on exiting the U.S. over Winter Break, be sure you are up-to-date on the current travel restrictions you may face when exiting and reentering. Your ability to return to the U.S. will be based on numerous factors, including fluid U.S. State Department/CDC Travel Warnings, differing travel restrictions in various countries, availability of flights, quarantine mandates, and visa requirements.

The Presidential Proclamation issued on June 22, 2020 titled, "Proclamation Suspending Entry of Aliens Who Present a Risk to the U.S. Labor Market Following the Coronavirus Outbreak," currently remains in effect until December 31, 2020. U.S. consulates will not issue new H-1B visas until after this date.

If you do decide to travel, please be sure to request a travel signature prior to departing the U.S. Please contact [email protected] directly if you have any questions regarding travel outside of the U.S.
