Cast Your Ballot for the 2021 ISTAT Board of Directors Next Month
Starting 9 March, the 2021 Nominating Committee is pleased to present that 10 candidates will run to serve as directors of ISTAT, with terms commencing in March 2021. Electronic voting will be available for ISTAT members beginning at 10 a.m. CST on Tuesday, 9 March, until noon CDT on Wednesday, 24 March. ISTAT Appraisers Share How COVID-19 Has Impacted the Value of the Airbus A330-300 and Boeing 767-300ER Aircrafts
Both the Airbus A330-300 and Boeing 767-300ER have been widely used aircrafts for many years. Although, recent concerns have surged regarding Residual Value performance of the A330-300 and decline in value of the Boeing 767-300ER due to the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Hear from Alex Cosaro, ISTAT certified appraiser and director of asset valuations at mba AVIATION, and Gueric Dechavanne, ISTAT certified senior appraiser and vice president of Collateral Valuations LLC, about the decline over the past year and their views of the aircrafts' futures in the industry. IAP Board of Governor (IBG) Nominations
Requests for IBG Nominations will be distributed to ISTAT members by the end of the month. There are three non-appraiser seats up for election, each to serve for two years. The ISTAT Board of Directors selects the non-appraiser members of the IBG.
The IBG has the responsibility to govern the ISTAT Appraisers Program (IAP) and to administer, oversee, and modify standards and procedures of the IAP, the IAP’s Handbook and the IAP’s Principles of Appraisal Practice & Code of Ethics. It also has the responsibility of hearing, ruling upon and issuing sanctions for complaints against IAP Members for allegedly violating the rules of the Handbook, the Principles of Appraisal Practice & Code of Ethics, or established appraisal practice standards and procedures.
