ISTAT PDP Americas Course Applications Opening Soon
As ISTAT PDP Dublin launches online next month, ISTAT is opening applications for the ISTAT PDP Americas Course on 30 March. This program is planned to take place in-person starting in September 2021. Designed for aviation professionals within their first one to five years in the industry, ISTAT PDP features industry-leading instructors providing a thorough understanding of the business of trading and financing commercial aviation. Keep an eye out for more information later this month.

ISTAT Foundation Launches Applications for Humanitarian, Grants and Internship 2021 Programs |
|
The ISTAT Foundation is now accepting applications for its Humanitarian Aid, Grants and Scholarship Programs. Please share this information with organizations and universities that could benefit from the support and offerings for the following programs:
The Humanitarian Aid Program provides grant funding for global humanitarian organizations using the power of aviation to promote human welfare and alleviate suffering. This year, the Humanitarian Committee is prioritizing programs and projects 1) with a geographic focus in developing or under-resourced regions, 2) with innovations in Environmental Impact (ESG) or 3) in areas of urban mobility such as the “last-mile” provision in disaster relief. Review the full criteria here. Applications are due 1 September.
The Grants Program offers aviation-related grant funding to global organizations that advance commercial aviation, including programs aimed at introducing the aviation industry to a diverse group of constituents and educational platforms such as museums, summer camps and workshops. Learn more about the program criteria here. Applications are due 3 May.
The Scholarship Committee is currently accepting applications for 2021 scholarship candidates committed to a future career in commercial aviation. Applications for the Scholarship Program are by invitation only and open to a select number of qualified universities. Business Meeting and Continuing Education
The IAP will be hosting its online Business Meeting and Continuing Education session on Thursday, 25 March from 11:00- 14:30 EDT. The event will be recorded for those unable to attend live.
Attendance is limited to IAP members, the IAP Board of Governors and invited guests.
Certification Exams
The IAP will be hosting exams in Bangalore, the Boston area, Dublin, London and the Washington, D.C., area for certification to become ISTAT Certified Appraisers and Senior Appraisers on 20-21 April.
