As part of ISTAT's expanded Members Between Jobs Initiative that originally launched in 2017, unemployed individuals who have been an ISTAT member for the past three or more years are eligible to apply for access to certain benefits now through 31 December 2021. Join us in congratulating the 51 students selected as recipients of this year’s ISTAT Foundation Scholarship Program. Nearly US$440,000 was awarded to students from 36 universities worldwide for the 2020-2021 academic year. Also, an additional US$16,000 will be gifted to students at the end of the year as part of the Norman C.T. We are pleased to share that the remaining 20% of ISTAT’s US$500,000 commitment to crucial, aviation-connected COVID-19 relief initiatives has been awarded to HoverAid, Aviation Without Borders – Switzerland, Irish Community Rapid Response (ICRR) and Orbis International. ISTAT and the ISTAT Foundation are honored to be able to provide support to the global community through these partnerships, as well as the other eight organizations previously awarded grants. View updates from the grant recipients here.

The deadline to submit applications for the 2020-2021 ISTAT University (ISTAT U) 2.0 Program is 31 August. ISTAT U 2.0 is available, by way of a web-based format, to individuals who have completed an undergraduate degree within the last three years or students who are currently enrolled in a graduate degree in business, accounting, finance or economics, or related field of study, and are looking for a rewarding and challenging career in the aircraft financing, leasing and other ISTAT member industries. Learn more and spread the word to interested candidates.
