Below are the names of faculty and staff that will be working the
2019 Iowa State Fair
with dates and locations.
We would like to invite you to stop by and say 'hi' to faculty and staff at the fair.
Below are just some of the activities that our faculty and staff are involved in:
Iowa Pork Producers Association Tent,
August 10 and 11, Animal Science faculty, staff and graduate students will be working the pork tent on these two days
IMAC - I milked a cow,
Iowa State University Dairy Science Club, Every day from 9 AM - 11 AM, Boulevard of Dairy Breeds, John and Emily Putney Family Cattle Barn. Cost is $3 to milk a cow.

south side of the fairgrounds in the livestock barns during the fair – primarily in the sheep barn, but also in the swine and cattle barns. Sheep Barn - With the FFA and 4-H sheep shows volunteering, as well as the Iowa Club Lamb Association Wether Sire/Dam Show and Sale (working the show and sale).

- Sat. August 17th – Iowa Foundation for Agricultural Advancement (IFAA) Scholarship Picnic
- Sun. August 18th – ISU Block and Bridle and ISU Alpha Gamma Rho work the final shift at the Iowa Pork Tent
