Harvest is well underway in NW Iowa. Harvest yield has been variable across the area as drought impacted several counties. Soybeans with green stems have been reported by some harvesting soybeans. Some helpful resources related to harvest have been added to the links below.
As the shift of harvest moves from soybeans to corn it is good to keep an eye out for ear rots and crown rots as well as general standability of corn. I have included some references below related to corn.

Asian copperleaf was discovered in Iowa in 2016 near Cedar Falls. The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship and Iowa State University is interested in understanding how widespread this weed is in the state of Iowa.
