On February 16th the EPA approved label amendments for additional restrictions for over-the-top dicamba in Iowa. The restrictions included a new cut-off date for over-the-top dicamba use. I have included a link to the article written by Dr. Prashant Jha which can be found here or in the link below.

Updated Crop Nutrient Recommendations

PM 1688 the General Guide for Crop Nutrient and Limestone Recommendations in Iowa was updated recently. This publication was last updated in 2013. Through new research and understanding of response data an updated publication has been developed. There are two areas that have changed in the publication. Please take a look at the article written by Antonio Mallarino that describes the changes made to PM 1688 as well as what did not change. A link to PM 1688 and the article has been provided in the red boxes below.

We want to hear from you!

As technology continues to evolve, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is launching a statewide survey that will help us deliver the research-based education and resources you want, in ways that fit you best. And as a friend of extension, your voice is an important one.

Your responses will tell us about the technology you prefer, the topics you want to learn more about, and the issues that are important to you. What we learn will help us improve on the way Iowans access, receive, and engage with extension education. Please take a few minutes and complete the survey in the link below in the red box titled "Statewide Audience Assessment Survey" and share with others - those we know and those we may not have reached yet. Thank you!
