As many are aware, the microchip shortage, along with a precious metals shortage, is having major effects on the electronics industry causing hardware shortages and delays. 

No one in the industry is expecting a quick return to normal. Most are predicting these shortages will continue through the remainder of 2021 and into Q1 2022.

We have seen some items that normally take days or weeks to arrive, now take months, including:

  • Workstations and Laptops
  • Servers, Firewalls, Switches, and Network Attached Storage

We are recommending that our clients make an extra effort to plan ahead for any projects they are considering.
