FACEBOOK IS COMING BACK!!
FACEBOOK is being revived! Many members in our community have expressed an interest in being be able to advertise items they are selling, jobs they need done or can do, offering help to those that need it, or just general information. So, we are reviving ELK MEADOWS ESTATES Facebook Private Group. It has been public up to now but we are changing it to private so it is only accessible to homeowners in Elk Meadows. Try it out....if you don't know how to use it or access it please reach out to me (Kristi) or the Board @ emhoa.secretary@gmail.com and someone can help you out. If you post something you will be alerted that it will go through a quick approval process prior to it showing up. This way we can keep everything going smooth. It is a happy place and any inappropriate comments will not be posted.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED !!
We are looking for volunteers to organize a committee about dust and speed control and to help repair the fence line. If you wish to volunteer please contact emhoa.secretary@gmail.com.

Thank you to all the volunteers who have helped remove dead Aspens and thank you to the homeowners who have removed their dead trees on their property.
There are still a lot of dead Aspens that need to come down. If your require help in removing your dead Aspens or would like to volunteer to help remove dead Aspens for others please contact emhoa.secretary@gmail.com
FIRES....NOT!
It is still wildfire season. It is preferable to not have any open fires at this time. No matter how cautious we are the wind can take a spark and start a fire. It is still very dry and fires are always possible.
If you see or smell smoke call the Board or 911 or go to the area and investigate to determine if it is a fire out of control. Please remember there is only one fire escape route in Elk Meadows. 
COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS
TODAY'S UPDATE
As of July 26 the state of Colorado's death toll is 1738. There now have been a total of 48,394 confirmed cases of the virus in Colorado with a total of 1849 deaths. A total of 552,205 people have been tested and currently 6516 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Colorado.


Here is a quick video from the Surgeon General on how to make a simple mask. 
Please remember to wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; washing every finger thoroughly as well as top and bottom your your hands.

Also, PLEASE check on your neighbors. If they are ill make sure they are getting the help they need. A simple phone call or a bag of groceries dropped at their doorstep is a huge help for many people at this time.
Please remember social distancing....it is working.
It is our only chance at containing this dreaded disease!!
