It is with great sadness that The University of Manchester learnt of the death of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her majesty holds a special place in our University's history. ITGA is extending heartfelt condolences to our friends and colleagues across the pond.
On August 31, the InterCity Leadership Visit group from Athens, Ga., networked with their University of Alabama and Tuscaloosa city counterparts to discuss building town and gown relationships during the Art of Town and Gown Relationships Reception.
Some students responded to the crisis by getting involved in the community. The Mississippi Student Water Crisis Advocacy Team formed to deliver bottled water to elderly residents, those who have disabilities or don't have a car, junior Maisie Brown wrote in Essence magazine.

Kalamazoo Valley Community College has built a rare model aimed at connecting people through growing food, supporting local farmers, and educating a wide variety of community members. Valley Food Share boxes started in March 2019 to help alleviate student hunger.
