ITRC 2022 Project Proposal Process Kickoff
We are excited to announce the opening of our 2022 Project Proposal Process! Starting today, we will begin accepting 1-page pre-proposals that address important environmental issues and advance innovative technologies and practices.

Some of our identified hot topics identified by membership include:

  • Chemicals of Emerging Concern - Process for Early Identification; New Contaminant on the Horizon; EtO
  • Drinking Water - Identification of treatment technologies; Identification of treatment technologies
  • Waste - Advancements in Brownfields Cleanup; Mining Waste; Medical Waste
  • Climate Change - Carbon Removal & Sequestration; Methane; Deforestation Impacts; Ocean Acidification; Greenhouse Gas Reporting & Monitoring
  • Updates to ITRC Guidance - Munitions (Underwater Detection); Stormwater Technologies

Note: Other proposals not identified in the list above are also welcome
Selected proposals will begin in January 2022!
We encourage proposals from all environmental and public health professionals. All applicable environmental topics will be considered, but evaluation criteria will give preference to proposals that address the needs listed in the 2022 ITRC Environmental Priorities list, or proposals which update existing ITRC documents.

The first round of pre-proposals are due electronically to ITRC Director Patty Reyes at [email protected] by 5:00pm ET on April 6, 2021. All pre-proposals must use the pre-proposal template for submission
