ITRC Board of Advisors Co-Chair Position Open for 2021 - 2024
ITRC is now currently seeking applicants for the open Co-Chair position on its Board of Advisors. The position is a three-year term, beginning in March 2021. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply according to the process described below.

The Co-Chair position is filled by a state environmental agency employee and will be elected by a digital vote of general ITRC membership conducted in February of 2021. Along with the other Co-Chair, this position leads ITRC's eight-member voting Board, which is responsible for ITRC leadership, management, and strategic direction, in coordination with the ITRC Director and Board Liaisons; for a full description of chair responsibilities, view ITRC's bylaws. Travel to four or five ITRC-related meetings per year is required (pending ongoing travel restrictions), and will be reimbursed by ITRC according to the ITRC Travel Policy. Total time commitment will vary by year but could be up to 15% of a full-time equivalent.

This position is eligible for an annual state grant of $15,000 to compensate for the individual's time commitment to ITRC.

Application Process
If you are interested in applying for the ITRC Co-Chair position, please provide ITRC with a one-page statement of interest. The statement of interest should list the nature of the applicant's current employment and a brief employment history, detailing the applicant's goals for the Co-Chair position, the Board of Advisors, and ITRC in general. All ITRC Co-Chair applications should be sent with prior approval of management.

These materials should be submitted electronically to ITRC Director, Patricia Reyes, ([email protected], 202-266-4933) by close of business on Friday, February 5, 2021. Each application will be acknowledged by the end of the next business day after submission of the application.
