ITRC Board of Advisors Cross-Media Outreach Liaison Position Open
ITRC is currently seeking applicants for the open Cross-Media Outreach Liaison position on its Board of Advisors. The position is a three year term beginning in January 2022, with an optional second term. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply according to the process described below.

The Outreach Liaison will serve as one of the seven state voting positions. The position will be filled by a state agency employee and be responsible for broadening ITRC’s contacts in all media (air, water, other). The Outreach Liaison will work closely with ITRC project teams that are focusing on environmental issues in air and water and ensuring membership needs are met to focus on those topics.

The Outreach Liaison will help with project proposal selection, membership issues and concerns, team document and training reviews, implementing the ITRC Strategic Plan, and communicating with the ITRC Director. The Board of Advisors meets twice a year in person and monthly via webinar.

The position is also eligible for an annual State grant of $15,000 to compensate for the individual’s time commitment to the ITRC.

Application Process
If you are a state agency employee and are interested in applying for the ITRC Cross-Media Outreach Liaison position, please provide ITRC with a one-page statement of interest. The statement of interest should list the nature of the applicant's current employment and involvement in ITRC, as well as a brief statement on why they want to be an ITRC Board member. All ITRC Outreach Liaison applications should be sent with prior approval of management. There will be a short interview with the ITRC Board of Advisors Co-Chairs.
