Native American Community Night Basketball Game
Students and community members joined together to watch UC San Diego beat Western Washington 97-92!

At the game, we offered a Kumeyaay land acknowledgement, talked about the importance of Native American Heritage Month and the Soaring Eagles dance group performed for the crowd.

Thank you to UC Athletics for the hospitality and generosity!

Looking forward to next year's game!

The Smudging
The Smudging Screening was a huge success! We hope folks didn't leave too scared! Filmmaker, Mike Marin, offered great insight on his inspiration and introduced us to the genre of Urban Native Horror.
One of the Native youth from the Noli Indian School recognized her Great Grandmother at the Kumeyaay Photo Exhibit in Peterson Hall.
Noli Indian School Campus Visit
The ITRC and Native students welcomed youth from the Noli Indian School for a tour of campus, interactive activity, and lunch.
