Springing Ahead ITRC 2021 Spring Virtual Meeting - EJ Panel Spotlight -

Spots are filling up fast for our upcoming spring meeting, but there are still openings to register! The free virtual event will span over the course of nine days, from April 13-22, 2021, with various team and group meetings ranging from 12:30-5:00pm EST each day. View the full agenda here. Kicking off our meeting, the plenary session will include an Environmental Justice panel led by experts in the field:

Myra Reece Director of Environmental Affairs South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) A member of the DHEC team for more than 30 years, Myra also has dedicated her service to several national organizations, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Clean Air Act Advisory Committee and the E-Enterprise Leadership Council, and she was appointed the Environmental Council of the States Planning Committee Chair in Spring 2019.

Conchita Taitano Air & Land Programs Division Administrator Guam Environmental Protection Agency Conchita has been with the Guam Environmental Protection Agency (Guam EPA) for 29 years and working as the Air and Land Division Administrator for over 22 years overseeing the Air Program, Pesticides Program, Hazardous Waste Program, and the Solid Waste Program. Conchita has recently served as president of the Association of State and Territorial Solid Waste Management Officials, where she remains a voting member.

Sean Moriarty Chief Advisor for Regulatory Affairs New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Sean leads and manages the New Jersey DEP’s internal legal team and serves as its general counsel on all matters of regulatory compliance and rulemaking. He also is a member of the Commissioner’s executive team, providing input on priority initiatives that include climate change and environmental justice.
