Per-and-Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS-1) Updated Guidance
ITRC has released an updated and expanded PFAS Technical and Regulatory Web Guidance Document (PFAS-1). Building on the original resource, this new version incorporates the latest science, emerging issues, and practical lessons from real-world projects.
New features in this release include updates and expansions on a variety of topics, new guidance on sorption-based technologies for PFAS removal, a PFAS and Vapor Intrusion Fact Sheet, and case studies showcasing practical applications. The expanded PFAS-1 guidance provides clear, science-based tools to support informed decisions and effective site management.

Vapor Intrusion Toolkit (VIT-1)
ITRC has launched a comprehensive Vapor Intrusion Toolkit, consolidating and updating all three previous guidance documents (VI-1, PVI-1, and VIM-1). This single resource covers the latest science, policy, and field experience, providing clear, practical guidance for vapor intrusion investigations and mitigation.
The toolkit includes the Vapor Intrusion Technical and Regulatory Guidance, plus a suite of fact sheets, technology information sheets, and checklists—all available for individual download. With decision-support tools, visuals, and real-world examples, the toolkit helps practitioners confidently tackle vapor intrusion challenges and ensure consistent, science-based evaluations.
