Dear IWF/MA Colleagues:

Isn’t Spring the perfect showcase for resiliency? Despite another dark, cold winter, trees are again bursting with new life, and flowers are blooming with gorgeous color. And it all gives us reason to believe in better days ahead!

We certainly enjoyed some great programming to date, thanks to Tara Levine, Susan Esper, and to the many members who helped bring some wonderful connections and important conversations to life. Up Close and Personal WithVanessa Calderón-Rosado, Rosabeth Moss Kanter, Cady Coleman, Dana Born, and Myechia Minter-Jordan were fantastic, and we have a great line up for the rest of the year. We also had conversations on important topics like Ukraine: Insights and Implications. Thank you to Micho Spring, Juliette Kayyem, and Dana Born for their insightful and timely remarks at that program. Thank you to Renee Connolly for suggesting The Mental Health Crisis: Our Next Generation Needs us to be Talking. Lesli Suggs led the conversation and outlined the many ways that our youth are struggling today. A robust discussion followed Lesli's remarks with a commitment by IWF/MA to continue to look at this important issue.

You can watch any of these programs on demand by logging into the web site here - and let us know if you have ideas, topics or speaker suggestions.

Fun is also on the agenda! We have over 50 women coming to our summer All-Member/New-Member Reception at the Encore Boston Harbor on Wednesday, June 1st, 5:30-7:30pm. It will be a great opportunity to meet our gracious host, Encore’s CEO, Jenny Holaday. Encore Boston Harbor was recently designated by Forbes as a 5-star hotel (great write up in the Boston Globe here). Join our party and check out what the travel world is celebrating in Boston at the Encore with your IWF/MA friends.
Just a reminder that the June 1 Encore event is a prelude to the International Women’s Forum’s Global Leadership Conference, Nov 1-3. We are excited to have a large showing of IWF/MA members at this international conference. Block your calendar and plan to join our group. In June we will host a virtual “Registration Party”- we’ll have some fun and help guide you through the steps to get registered. More details soon.

Last but not least... one of our most popular signature events, Women Opening Doors for Women is virtual again this year on Monday, June 13, 4:30-6:00pm. IWF/MA joins forces with Tomorrow’s Women Today for this annual mentorship event, this year themed, "Arrive and Thrive." We're thrilled to announce that Dr. Lynn Perry Wooten, president of Simmons University, will be our keynote this year. She’s a co-author of recently released Arrive and Thrive: 7 Impactful Practices for Women Navigating Leadership. Click HERE to learn more about this year's program and register to join this opportunity to support the next generation of women leaders.

Don't forget to check out our Members in the News section below and let Kirsten know if you have news to share! I hope to see you soon at our event at the Encore.

Warmest regards,
Judy A Habib
