Advanced Women Leaders (AWL) Program

W e know that when women come together to  collaborate with, learn from, and support other  women, change happens for themselves and  the world and teams around them.

The Bloombase Experience for Advanced
Women Leaders program brings together a small cohort of experienced women leaders committed to expanding their leadership approach and impact. The central purpose of the program is to support and challenge women to proactively grow and develop themselves to be even more confident, purposeful and influential leaders who produce positive impact in their lives, teams and organizations.

The business environment and opportunities for women have changed significantly over the past 50 years. The influence and impact of women in the marketplace, workforce and in our companies is critical to our collective success. Yet the progress seems to be slowing and in some cases stalled. Why is this? What are the consequences? What does good look like? How do we move forward?
This cross-generational panel will explore the gender topics of today through a generational lens. Where do views and related experiences differ and where are they similar? We will dive deep into what can we learn from this tapestry and how we can work together today to impact the work environment for the next generation, while appreciating those who came before us.
We have an exciting program planned for August 28.    Reserve your spot now - you won't want to miss it!

*To reserve your table of 10 at the price of $3,500 ($350 per person), contact Jen Tornatta at

Do you know a bold and fearless woman?
It's not too late to nominate someone for the Christi Anderson Personal Innovation Award

Last year's winner was Adriena Wright, a resilient woman who rose above extremely tough physical and mental challenges and now self-funds college preparation workshops for first generation college students in urban areas. This scholarship went toward funding more of these workshops.

Who will be this year's winner? If you know a woman who you think deserves this award in 2018, nominate her by July 20 using this  link.

Our theme for July is Progess. When was the last time you stopped to appreciate the progress you've made? Setting goals is the first step, but the real satisfaction comes when you acknowledge how much you've accomplished. This month, we're challenging you to give yourself some credit.  At the end of each week, write down everything you have accomplished that you set out to do, personally and professionally - no matter how small. Even if you feel like it's been an especially long week where not much got checked off the "to do" list, write down everything you did achieve. You'll feel a sense of relief and pride in yourself, and you'll be more motivated and confident heading into the next week. Progress happens step by step, and you're on your way!
