Nominate a Bold and Fearless Woman for the
2019 Christi Anderson Personal Innovation Award
August 2 Deadline to Nominate

Christi Anderson was one of the first board members for IWL, as well as a mentor, a friend, an advocate for women's leadership, a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and attorney.  Christi was passionate about helping other women in leadership, and we honor Christi by awarding a scholarship every year to a woman who is looking to innovate herself, to be better and do better - just like Christi did, and who could benefit from the financial assistance to do so.
It is our hope that this award will create opportunities for these young women and inspire them to lead their lives boldly and fearlessly and with the tenacity of our dear friend, Christi.  If you know a bold and innovative woman who deserves this year's award, please nominate her by August 2. Donations can also be made to the scholarship fund.

We will be announcing the winner at the 10th Annual IWL Conference in Indianapolis on September 16!

Last month, we encouraged you to "own your values" and stick to them. Dr. Neeli Bendapudi taught us this as she opened the 2019 Louisville conference in late April. This month we're focusing on the message from another one of our Louisville keynote speakers, Sheri Riley,  Empowerment Speaker,  Life Strategist and Author of  Exponential LivingOne of the most impactful things she told us was to  Celebrate the Victories. We get so caught up in our to-do lists and what we haven't gotten done that we often forget to celebrate what we have done. Sheri taught us us that in order to achieve what we really want, we have to let go of the barriers that are holding us back - and that includes the never-ending feeling of not doing enough. Over the next month, intentionally focus on celebrating your accomplishments and those around you. Practice asking your co-workers at the end of each week what they're most proud of, and sharing yours with them - even if it's just one tiny item on that list that you finally got to check off. Use this as a chance to give yourself a pat on the back and acknowledge the progress you're making toward your goals. Celebrating the victories is the first step toward breaking through those mental barriers to your success!

Thank you to our 2019 Conference Sponsors... and there's still an opportunity to join!
