New Year, New Theme: BE the Change

Happy New Year and welcome to a new decade from the IWL team! From bringing an expanded vision to life, to launching a male ally advisory group, to our most impactful conferences yet, and more, 2019 was a year to remember. To the 1,600+ attendees, 60+ speakers, 42 sponsors, and 150+ male allies who used your voices, shared your time, and united your power, thank you for being a part of our community.

Our theme for 2020 is BE the Change and we're ready to put words into action. The year 2020 signifies an important milestone in this century and an opportunity for reflection and new beginnings. What are we doing as individuals to listen, learn, be mindful, and shift our own perspective to leave a positive legacy in our homes, workplaces, and our communities? How are we being intentional as organizations about the impact we are facilitating within this ever-changing world? IWL's first change in the new year is a new and improved newsletter that works for YOU. What will your first change be?
Dive into Unconscious Bias with the IWL Male Ally Meetup Group
Kicking off on February 4, 2020
At Integrating Women Leaders, we know that including men’s voices is crucial to accelerating change. We need male allies in our companies who are true advocates for women leaders. We need men who actively work to eliminate gender bias and recognize their own critical role in the equation, even when women aren't in the room. That's why we're launching the IWL Male Ally Meetup Group, and we'd love to include you. If you are a man (or woman) who is interested in being part of a network of allies, sharing best practices, and supporting one another in allyship, join us for this kick-off event at the Katz, Sapper & Miller Conference Center on February 4.
February 4, 2020, 8:30am-10:30am

"Reflecting to Look Ahead": Lifelong Lessons from Working in a Women-Led Environment
By Brooke Blevins, IWL Intern and Butler University Student
"I have seen the power of allyship and now understand that regardless of the social justice issue, those seeking justice will never be successful without the help of others. I have learned that dedicating your time empowering others can be just as impactful as spending that time volunteering. Being a part of the 10th IWL conference in Indianapolis exposed me to incredible female and male leaders who are paving the way for a better future..."
