April 20, 2017 - Bayou Country Bloodsport -  Jon Donlon, Ph. D has done extensive research on what is considered "purple leisure" activities, which often include gambling and the topic of his book, cockfighting in southern Louisiana. His book, Bayou Country Bloodsport, dives into the shiftier world of cockfighting, exploring its history and cultural impact on southern Louisiana.
