Alumna Laura Hill Named Among Top 100 Federal Information Technology Leaders

Idaho State University is proud to recognize distinguished alumna, senior executive service member, and philanthropist Laura Hill, who was recently honored as one of the nation’s top federal information technology leaders through the prestigious Federal 100 Award. Hill, assistant chief information officer at the U.S. Forest Service, was celebrated during the Evening of Honors in Washington, D.C., on April 3, 2025.

Dr. Theresa Huff Named 2024-2025 ISU College of Education Kole-McGuffey Award Recipient

The Peter C. Kole - William H. McGuffey Prize for Excellence in Education recognizes research that makes a meaningful and unique contribution to the field of education and is the most prestigious award bestowed by the College of Education for graduate students.

Congratulations to our February and March Be a Bengal Nominees!

ISU began in this program in 2019 as we began building a campus culture based on trust, compassion, stability and hope. In 2023, ISU's Strategic Plan outlined six core campus values. To align with these values and further highlight their importance, in January 2025 the Be a Bengal program began recognizing team members for any or all of our campus values.

To submit a campus update or story for Idaho State Today, fill out the online form by Friday at noon for Monday's edition, and Wednesday at noon for Thursday's edition. A separate newsletter called ROAR Weekly is sent to students on Wednesdays.
