ISU Partners with Other Universities to Offer New Graduate Certification for Listening and Spoken Language

The AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language has formally approved an innovative pilot initiative, LSLS LaunchPad, designed to transform how future professionals prepare to support children who are deaf or hard of hearing using Listening and Spoken Language and their families. The pilot will launch in Fall 2026 through a partnership among three leading universities: Butler University, Idaho State University, and Samford University.

New 3+4 Health Science to Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Boosts Physician Pipeline for Idaho

Idaho State University and the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine are excited to grow their decade-long partnership with the addition of a new “3+4” degree pathway that offers a focused and more efficient route to a medical degree. The program enables students to complete their undergraduate and medical education in seven years instead of eight, saving both cost and time.

Relocation for Maintenance Projects in Administration Building Starts This Week

The Administration Building will undergo a multi-phase deferred maintenance project starting this summer. This project will address failing HVAC systems and replace inefficient windows and lighting fixtures, leading to significant improvements in ongoing maintenance needs and energy efficiency. The project is 100% funded by State of Idaho Deferred Maintenance funding and has no impact on university reserves.
