Junior Goes to Washington: IMNH Specimen to Star in Exhibit at the National Museum of Natural History

One of the most pristine pieces in the collections of the Idaho Museum of Natural History is heading for the big time. Junior, a six-foot-wide skull of a Bison latifrons specimen from the IMNH, was recently called up to be one of the central features in the National Museum of Natural History’s new exhibit, “Bison: Standing Strong.” Beginning May 7, visitors will learn about the rise, fall and resurgence of the national mammal.

Professor Launches Blog Focused on Exploring Human Impact of Artificial Intelligence Integration 

As artificial intelligence continues to rapidly shape industries, one Idaho State University professor is focusing not just on the technology itself, but on how it fundamentally changes human behavior, workplace systems and organizational success. As part of Idaho State University's yearlong 125th anniversary celebration, ISU is featuring interesting tidbits and stories of notable alumni throughout the years. In 1904, Helen K. The next generation of nuclear energy technology could soon be taking shape right in Pocatello. Idaho State University has officially requested authorization to host the NuCube Energy Advanced Research and Test Reactor on its campus, a move that would dramatically expand research opportunities in nuclear science and engineering. ISU and NuCube Energy have announced that their joint proposal was selected for the Nuclear Energy Launch Pad USA program.
